I've been reminded of a set of animal design dinner placement mats I had as a kid. One had an image of koalas, another was a giant panda, and I had the hardest time deciding between the two of them. I never used to like my sisters having either of them and would have a major tantrum if I didn't get to choose first.

I love armadillos, although I have absolutely no idea why they get me the way they do. Maybe I had a past life as a cactus or something, and I miss seeing them go for moonlit walks. There are several species, and most people know of the nine-banded type, but my personal favourite is the Pink Fairy Armadillo
